From the literal meaning, we know that high temperature resistance is to operate at high temperature. The long-term continuous working temperature is 125 , 135 , 150 , 180 , 200 , 250 and above, which is called high temperature resistance wire and cable. At present, the commonly used wire and cable are irradiation crosslinked polyolefin, silicone rubber, fluororesin, polyimide, mica, magnesium oxide, etc. Heat resistant wire and cable and high temperature wire and cable need to meet two requirements. The other is power transmission cable, whose main purpose is to increase the closure capacity.

The common cable is easy to produce insulation aging and scorching phenomenon in high temperature room. The cable loses its performance and is damaged and cannot be used. The high-temperature cable can work normally and stably in the rated high-temperature line, the transmission performance of signal or electric energy is not affected, and the service life of the cable is longer. This kind of function cable is the most common and most common one of high-temperature cables, and its use characteristics are also the most easy to understand.

The purpose of high temperature cable with increased load is to reduce the outer diameter and weight of cable under the premise of river closure, and to develop to lightweight. Generally speaking, the higher the working temperature of the cable, the greater the cut-off flow of the same cross-section cable. In places such as airplanes and automobiles, it is of great significance to reduce the weight, and the cross-section is greatly reduced by using high-temperature cables. When the working temperature rises from 90 to 155 , the current carrying capacity will rise by 50%. Under the same current carrying capacity, the cable weight will be reduced generally and the cost will be reduced. Of course, the power loss of most insulating materials will increase with the high cut-off. Therefore, it can be said that the cost of high temperature resistant wire and cable is much higher than that of general wire and cable.
